Like many, my story began with challenges that shaped who I am today. My father left before I was born, and my mom worked tirelessly to keep our family afloat while my Assyrian grandparents helped raise me, doing their best to navigate an unfamiliar culture and language. They loved me deeply, and my grandmother, in particular, passed down one of her greatest gifts — a love of food. Some of my earliest memories are of standing beside her in the kitchen, watching her cook with care and creativity. It was there I learned that food could be more than nourishment — it could be a language of love, connection, and belonging.
As I grew older, I came to believe fulfillment followed a familiar formula: build a career, marry, raise a family, and chase success. I pursued that life with everything I had, but somewhere along the way, I lost myself. Low self-esteem, unhealthy coping, divorce, and financial struggles left me drained and questioning my worth. Yet in those seasons of brokenness, God revealed something I couldn’t see on my own — what I now call the “third side of the coin.” Through His grace, and through the people He placed in my life, I came to see that even pain has purpose, and nothing in life is ever wasted.
That truth began to reshape everything about how I approached life and work. My journey carried me through nearly three decades in corporate America, where I learned how leadership, culture, and compassion intersect. Along the way, I launched two culinary ventures — one as an Executive Chef for an event company and another as the owner of a catering, craft spice, and special event business. I even spent time serving tables and tending bar, rediscovering the joy of connecting with people face-to-face and the grounding value of humility and service.
Parallel to my professional life, I had the privilege of leading men’s and couples’ ministries, walking alongside others through their own seasons of growth, struggle, and restoration. Each chapter — whether in business, the kitchen, or ministry — taught me that success without soul is empty, and that true abundance comes from alignment with God’s purpose.
Today, I’m remarried, living with a healthier sense of vocational and relational boundaries and a stronger conviction to be intentional about prioritizing love — both for myself and for others — even when it isn’t the easiest path. I’ve come to see that real fulfillment isn’t found in possessions or status, but in living out the life God designed — one marked by love, peace, kindness, and joy.
My calling now is simple: to journey with others as they discover their own “third side of the coin” — a life rooted in faith, anchored in a healthy sense of self, and overflowing with true abundance.
I believe that life is meant to be experienced fully—through love, connection, and presence in every moment.
I find deep joy in the love and connection that food creates, whether it’s preparing a meal that nourishes both body and soul or gathering around a table filled with laughter, stories, and gratitude. To me, food is one of the purest expressions of love and community.
I also have a passion for traveling abroad, immersing myself in the rich history, culture, and flavors of the world. Experiencing how others live, love, and create always reminds me of the vastness of God’s design and the beauty of our shared humanity.
Some of my favorite moments are spent outdoors, where nature reveals the wonder, balance, and oneness of creation. Whether hiking a quiet trail, standing by the ocean, or watching a sunset with family and friends, I’m reminded that the divine is always near—alive in every breath, every leaf, every heartbeat.
At the core, what I love most is connection—to God, to others, to creation, and to the sacred journey we’re all on together.
