Like many, my story began with challenges that helped shape who I am today.
My father left before I was born, and my mother worked tirelessly to keep our family afloat. Much of my childhood was spent in the care of my Assyrian grandparents, who were doing their best to navigate a new culture, a new language, and a new life in America. What they may have lacked in resources, they more than made up for in love, resilience, and generosity.
My grandmother, in particular, gave me one of the greatest gifts of my life: a love of food.
Some of my earliest memories are standing beside her in the kitchen, watching her transform simple ingredients into something extraordinary. She cooked instinctively, from memory and experience, filling the house with aromas that brought family together. In those moments, I learned that food was more than nourishment. It was a language of love. A way of caring for others. A way of creating connection and belonging.
That lesson has stayed with me throughout my life and continues to shape the way I cook today.
As an Assyrian-American chef, my cooking is deeply influenced by the traditions of my family and heritage. The Assyrian table has always been a place of abundance, hospitality, storytelling, and community. Guests were welcomed warmly, plates were filled generously, and meals were never rushed.
Those values remain at the heart of every experience I create.
My culinary style draws inspiration from Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Italian, and Assyrian traditions, blending bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and timeless techniques into meals that feel both elevated and approachable.
Whether I'm preparing an intimate dinner for two, a wine night with friends, or a family-style gathering, my goal is always the same: to create an experience where people can slow down, connect, and truly enjoy being together.
Beyond the kitchen, I have always been drawn to travel, culture, and discovery.
Some of my favorite experiences have come from exploring other countries, wandering local markets, learning regional cooking traditions, and sharing meals with people whose lives look very different from my own. Every journey reminds me that while our languages, customs, and cuisines may differ, food has a remarkable ability to bring people together.
Many of the flavors, techniques, and inspirations I bring into my cooking have been shaped by these experiences and by a lifelong curiosity about how people gather, celebrate, and connect around food.
Today, some of my greatest joys come from spending time with family and friends around a table filled with good food, laughter, stories, and gratitude.
I believe the most memorable meals are not necessarily the most elaborate. They are the ones where people feel welcomed, cared for, and fully present with one another.
As your private chef, I bring that same spirit into every gathering I create.
Because at its best, food is never just about what's on the plate.
It's about connection.
It's about hospitality.
It's about creating moments that people will remember long after the last bite.
